Welcome to Growth Point Center. These Terms of Service govern your use of our educational and therapeutic services. By enrolling your child in our programs, you agree to these terms and conditions.
Services Provided
Growth Point Center provides the following services:
- Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Speech Therapy
- Special Education (SPED)
- Play-Based Learning Programs
We are committed to providing high-quality educational and therapeutic services tailored to each child's needs using evidence-based practices and interventions. We develop and implement individualized education and therapy plans based on your child's specific requirements.
Informed Consent
Parents and guardians will be fully informed about the nature, purpose, and potential outcomes of services provided. Consent will be obtained prior to the commencement of services. You have the right to refuse certain therapeutic procedures and to be informed about your child's condition and progress at all times.
Non-Discrimination Policy
Growth Point Center provides services without discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or socioeconomic status. We treat all children with respect and dignity, ensuring an inclusive environment that accommodates diverse needs and backgrounds.
Parent/Guardian Responsibilities
Parents and guardians agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about the child's medical, educational, and therapy history
- Actively participate in the child's education and therapy by attending scheduled meetings and sessions as required
- Support the child's learning and therapy goals at home by following provided guidance and recommendations
- Notify the Center of any changes in the child's health or medical information
- Provide and maintain current emergency contact information
- Keep the child at home if they are ill and follow the Center's illness policy
Payment Terms
Parents and guardians agree to pay for services and any additional fees promptly according to the Center's payment schedule.
- Payments are due as per the agreed schedule
- Delayed payments may be accepted for up to three (3) sessions
- Beyond three sessions, the Center reserves the right to pause services until outstanding dues are paid
Attendance and Cancellation Policy
Regular Attendance: Parents agree to ensure the child attends the Center regularly and arrives on time for scheduled sessions.
Advance Notice: Parents must inform the Center at least 12 hours in advance of any planned absences.
Late Cancellation Fee: If the Center is not informed of an absence within the required timeframe, a penalty of 50% of the missed session fee will be applied to the balance payment.
Emergency Absences: Unplanned absences due to emergency situations (illness, family emergencies, or severe weather conditions) will be handled on a case-by-case basis and may be exempt from the cancellation penalty.
Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures
Parents agree to adhere to the Center's drop-off and pick-up times and procedures. Please be prompt in bringing your child for scheduled sessions and pick up your child immediately after their session ends. This helps maintain appropriate supervision, ensures smooth transitions for all students and staff, and maintains the safety of all children on the premises.
Use of Center Resources
The Center's materials and equipment are to be used responsibly and only for their intended purposes.
- Minor damage to toys that is repairable is acceptable
- If a child damages Center equipment (including but not limited to tables, chairs, glass walls, therapy equipment, electronic devices, or sensory materials), the parent/guardian is responsible for replacement costs
Safe Environment
The Center is committed to maintaining a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children:
- We conduct routine check-ups to ensure safe indoor facilities in adherence to building codes and fire safety protocols
- We provide safe games and learning materials
- We maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios
- We follow mandatory reporting laws for any suspected abuse or neglect
Parents are expected to help maintain our facilities by encouraging their child to follow safety rules, reporting any hazards or damages noticed, and cooperating with staff to uphold safety standards.
Confidentiality
Both the Center and parents agree to maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive information regarding the child and family. The Center will not disclose information without consent except when legally required. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Professional Standards
Our staff maintains high levels of competence through ongoing education and training. All interactions are conducted with honesty and integrity. We maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients and do not make false, misleading, or exaggerated claims of therapeutic efficacy.
Problem Resolution
Both parties agree to address any concerns or issues promptly and constructively. If you have any grievances or concerns, please bring them to the attention of your child's service provider or the Center administration. We are committed to addressing issues fairly and promptly.
Changes to Terms
The Center reserves the right to update or amend these terms as needed. Parents and guardians will be notified of any changes and are expected to comply with updated policies.
Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling your child in Growth Point Center's programs and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms of Service.
